Hillsboro: National Bank's "Bank on a Cure" team washed car windows at the Hillsboro Drive-up Banking Center on Friday October 10, 2008. Donations were accepted to benefit the Montgomery County Cancer Association. In addition to washing their windows customers recieved bottled water and popcorn. Thank you for your support this fundraiser brought in almost $400.00.

Vandalia: Vandalia Working to keep Orgill from moving. When rumors began to gather that Sikeston, Missouri might be the location for a new distribution facility, Orgill's employees hastily gathered local townspeople in hope of showing the Orgill Corporation that Vandalia needs their company. The company is seeking a location for a new Midwestern distribution facility that would employ up to 350 people. The Vandalia Leader Union reported that Vandalia and Sikeston, Missouri are the two cities being considered for the site. Vandalia officials have confirmed that Orgill has not made a final decision on a site.   Updated 7/28/09 Orgill chose Sikeston, Missouri.

Alhambra: National Bank - Alhambra Banking Center will celebrate 15 years in business with a customer appreciation day. The staff of the Alhambra Banking Center will host a customer appreciation day on Friday, November 7, 2008, with food and drinks. Customers will enjoy BBQ Pork Burgers, Chips, Cookies, Fresh Popcorn and Beverages. Customers will also have a chance to sign up for prizes. Congratulation to the Alhambra Banking Center for 15 years serving the community - Well Done!

Belleville: Susan Bailey, Commercial Loan Officer at the Edwardsville Banking Center, participated in the 1st Annual Sisters of Swing Ladies Golf Tournament to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwerstern Illinois. This event was held on June 16, 2008 at the Orchards Golf Course in Belleville, Illinois and raised over $5,000.00.
